20 Dec Happiness in the New Year
I’ve been writing and saying “Happy New Year” a lot lately but have only recently reflected on what this might really mean.
I’m sure it means different things for different people but having given it a little thought over the last week or so I think, for me, it means that with each new year we have the opportunity to start anew, afresh, again and to make things better than they were before.
This is not to say that we shouldn’t enjoy what we have but there’s nothing wrong with striving for improvement.
So use this time of the year to reflect on all the happiness moments from 2006 and plan for many more happy times in 2007.
From the team at The Happiness Institute – all the best in your happiness endeavours.
