10 Jan Happiness Tool Kit
As many of you may already know, the “father” of Positive Psychology, Martin Seligman, is coming out to deliver a series of happiness at work seminars in late February (2007). In a recent article in “Management Today” he outlines what he believes to be the keys to happiness at work and how happiness at work leads to improved performance.
For more information you might like to go to http://www.aim.com.au but central to Seligman’s theory is the identification and use of an individual’s signature strengths.
He notes that “the point is when we are absorbed in what we are doing our productivity is going to be better”, or quite simply, happiness at work is associated with energy and therefore productivity and efficiency.
