Another interesting study from the latest Journal of Positive Psychology explored the association between interpersonal relationships, irrational beliefs and happiness (or life satisfaction).
In short, the results indicated that interpersonal relationships mediated the association between irrational thoughts and happiness.
What does this mean? Boosting happiness can be achieved by both targeting unhelpful, negative thoughts but also, by fosering and developing key interpersonal relationships.
