At birth, Americans are guaranteed “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” as written in the Declaration of Independence.
Pop culture reflects our continuous search for this state of mind in hit movies like “The Pursuit of Happyness.”
And this fall, Claremont Graduate University will become the first institution in the nation to offer a doctoral program in positive psychology, or the study of happiness.
