In his regular email, Lou Tice (from The Pacific Institute) begins with the following question:
How do you start your morning? Does it have an affect on how the rest of your day goes?
In this, my happiness blog, I think the very same question is highly relevant. Do you start your day with happiness or fear? Do you start your day with happiness or trepidation? Do you start your day with happiness or misery?
To have more happiness in the start to your day, try the following:
– think about all the things you have to do and imagine that all of them go perfectly
– think about all the people you’ll be interacting with and imagine that you make each of their lives better (and they, yours)
– take a few slow breaths and imagine that today will be a great day
