18 Nov There’s more to happiness than money
You may have heard the story of the billionaire who (as with all these stories) finds himself in a small country pub one night. He gets talking to one of the locals and begins to brag about how much money he has, where he goes on holiday, the school his kids go to, the cars he drives and the house he lives in.
The local listens politely and, when the billionaire finishes talking, says: “Good on you, if that’s what makes you happy. But I have something you’ll never have.”
The billionaire racks his brains. It couldn’t be money. Nor houses, cars or other material possessions. What on earth could it be?
The local replies: “Enough.”
