Coke jumps on the happiness bandwagon

Just a month after rival PepsiCo launched a major marketing campaign that features a new smiling logo, Coca-Cola Co. unveiled Wednesday in New York its new marketing campaign: “Open Happiness.”

The dueling campaigns could reignite the cola wars and even help the overall U.S. soft-drink market, said John Sicher, editor and publisher of Beverage Digest.
