Highlights from the 4th Happiness & its Causes Conference – Day 2

Highlights from the 4th Happiness & its Causes Conference – Day 2

After a wonderful Day 1, I also thoroughly enjoyed Day 2 of this year’s Happiness & its Causes Conference. Here are just a few of the highlights:

– Tony Buzan walked us through a wonderful overview of mind-mapping and its relevance to happiness

– John Gottman presented, in a thoroughtly entertaining way, his decades of brilliant and influential research into couples and marriages and happiness and…how to determine who should hold the remote control when you’re watching TV

– I was priveleged to moderate a panel focusing on happiness at work with input from the founder of Lentil as Anything, Renata from Camp Quality and representatives from the Mental Health Council of Australia and BUPA/MBF

All up, the day was (yet again) jam packed with fascinating insights and wonderfully practical advice about how to find and maintain happiness in life.

PS: thanks to all those people who came up to say hello and provide wonderfully positive feedback (and even a gift or two!) over the two days…it certainly brought me much happiness!
