A super-important strategy for happiness & success

Want to know the secret to happiness? 

…the secret it there’s no secret! 

At the same time, however, there are a number of proven and effective strategies that undoubtedly separate the happiest (and most successful) people from those who rather than thriving and flourishing in life, are just cruising along or even languishing.

These strategies include creating purpose and meaning, attending to physical health needs, thinking optimistically and, although this is not an exhaustive list, developing and fostering positive relationships with others.

But underlying ALL these strategies is an even more important, foundational skill. And that’s the skill of perseverance, persistence, the willingness to practice and to learn. 

Very few, if any, people are just born happy and successful. Some might find it a bit easier than others but all of us have to work at it. And work requires diligence. Many know what to do; but they don’t do it regularly enough.

So choose one happiness boosting or life improving strategy, one that you know will work for you, and commit to practising it each and every day, in some way, for at least the next 2-3 weeks.
